Welcome back Ryan McClure! We are excited to announce Gateway Arch Park Foundation's new executive director.

Ryan McClure, the new executive director of the Gateway Arch Park Foundation, officially returned to the organization on July 1. McClure previously served as the long-time communications director for the foundation from 2011 - 2018.

“My passion is St. Louis and our community,” McClure said. “I’m excited to have the opportunity to continue the important work that’s already been done to revitalize downtown St. Louis and to help build the future for the entire community.”

McClure acknowledged the recent completion of the Gateway Arch National Park renovation projects and said the improvements to the park and museum will be integral to future plans and events.

McClure previously served as the long-time communications director for the Foundation.

“The Gateway Arch is a unifying landmark for our community, as we saw with the Stanley Cup celebration for the Blues,” McClure said. “We will work every day to make sure the park remains a vibrant and well-supported resource for our community and the world."

The Gateway Arch Park Foundation is the official fundraising partner of the Gateway Arch National Park with a mission to ensure that the Gateway Arch and its grounds are a vital, active, welcoming, well-supported resource for generations to come.

The Gateway Arch Park Foundation hosts more than 40 free, public events each year to welcome the community into downtown St. Louis to experience the transformation of the Gateway Arch National Park and how it reconnects the world-famous monument with the businesses and attractions of the St. Louis region.

In August, the Gateway Arch Park Foundation will host Blues at the Arch, a free blues music concert series on Fridays in the North Gateway of the park across from Laclede’s Landing.

“We are pleased to have Ryan McClure back to lead the foundation,” said Carolyn Kindle Betz, Gateway Arch Park Foundation Chairwoman. “He has a deep love for this region, strong relationships with area leaders, and a great understanding of the important role the revitalized Gateway Arch National Park plays in the renaissance of downtown St. Louis.”

McClure returns to the foundation after serving as President of Boys Hope Girls Hope of St. Louis where he oversaw daily operations, fundraising, and community relations.
