Thank you, Jack Taylor

Artboard 1

Jack Crawford Taylor founded a company in 1957 that would grow to the world’s largest rental car provider, Enterprise Holdings, Inc. His values of integrity, hard work and doing the right thing built an enduring company and his generosity is well-known in his hometown of St. Louis and beyond. The generosity of Jack, his family, and his company can be felt wherever you go in St. Louis. When you visit our amazing cultural institutions, parks, educational institutions and more, the Taylor family’s support has helped make many of these things what they are today.

Jack and his family were early supporters of the CityArchRiver project and have continued to support and help lead an initiative that will make an indelible mark on the St. Louis community and our country for generations to come. When visitors walk across the Park Over the Highway and into the grand new entrance to the Arch, with a world-class museum underneath, they will be experiencing Jack’s generosity, and that of his family and many donors to this project, first-hand. The sense of wonder when they enter the visitor center and can see the St. Louis skyline behind them will be because of that generosity.

Upon the news of his passing, we pay tribute to an amazing individual that led by example and invested heavily in the city he called home. He will be forever remembered. Thank you, Jack.
