Dear Friends,
With so much uncertainty in the world right now, we want you to know the health and safety of our community is our top priority. As an organization, we are taking the necessary measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19. As a result, our staff has been temporarily working from home since last week to ensure their overall health and well-being. But we are still here to serve YOU, the St. Louis community, and Gateway Arch National Park.
While we continue to monitor this evolving situation membership packets and tax acknowledgment letters may be delayed. Donations made online will receive a tax acknowledgment via email automatically. We are grateful for our loyal and committed supporters, and thank you for your continued support during this time. We appreciate your understanding and patience. Our staff is available by email or phone to answer any of your questions; please do not hesitate to reach out.
Although the Museum and Visitor Center at the Gateway Arch are closed, the beautiful national park surrounding the monument is still open for dog walks, morning jogs, fresh air, and peace of mind. We encourage you to join us on social media where we can all share the beauty and inspiration of the Arch. Share your favorite things about the Arch with us, what it means to you, and how you’re using the park if you are there!
We also want to provide you an update on our events. We have made the difficult, but necessary decision to cancel our upcoming fundraising event, An Iconic Evening on May 8. While we have been looking forward to gathering with our supporters in celebration of the Gateway Arch and enjoying a delicious meal by Chef Gerard Craft, our first responsibility is to our community and its health and safety.
An Iconic Evening is the most important fundraising event of the year for the Gateway Arch Park Foundation, and is vital to the Foundation's mission of supporting your Gateway Arch National Park. We look forward to celebrating An Iconic Evening with you in 2021. There are still many ways you can continue to support Gateway Arch Park Foundation and the Arch throughout 2020 and we look forward to sharing those with you.
Our sincerest gratitude for all that YOU DO for the Arch and we hope you and your loved ones are safe and well!
