"I have worked here for 23 and a half years. I count the half years because I like to celebrate. Some people question their purpose, but I have found mine. I love working here, it doesn't feel like a job at all. I love meeting new people from all over the world. We have a map in the back with pins showing all of the places people visit from. After college I thought I wanted to be a nurse, but I don't like the idea of giving people shots. Here I get to interact with people, see the kids and babies. One thing I know is this - you have to stand behind what you believe in. I love the National Park Service and what they stand for. I realized this was my place and I just stuck around. If you love what you do, you'll never work again."
