Happy New Year from Gateway Arch Park Foundation

Dear Friends,

Yesterday when I was ice-skating with my family at the Winterfest Ice Rink on Kiener Plaza, it struck me that this is the time of year when the Gateway Arch is the most spectacular. The new lights illuminate the Arch, so it can be seen for miles in all directions.

The Gateway Arch National Park is a treasure in our own backyard. The Museum at the Gateway Arch is world-class and interesting for people of all ages and abilities. The 91-acre park surrounding the monument is filled with green space and trails perfect for picnics, morning runs, dog walks, and urban exploration. There’s a new walkway over the highway to make it safe and easy to get to the Arch, a beautiful new entrance and visitors’ center that’s accessible and inviting, and a newly redesigned and expanded museum where you’ll learn how St. Louis played a pivotal role in shaping our country.

We are proud of the positive response the renovations have received this year from  Architectural Digest, to City Lab and The Wall Street Journal.

At the Gateway Arch Park Foundation, our responsibility is to ensure the Gateway Arch National Park and Museum are vibrant, relevant and sustainable now and for generations to come.

We hope you will join our effort to support the Gateway Arch National Park. Your support helps ensure the pathways from Kiener Plaza to the riverfront remain accessible and maintained, that the grounds of the Arch are healthy and beautiful, and that the exhibits in the Museum at the Gateway Arch are thought-provoking and engaging now and in the future.  Your membership will fund field trips for students and free events for the community from sunrise yoga, to Blues at the Arch concerts, and Arch Bark to welcome dogs to the Gateway Arch National Park.

Your Gateway Arch Park Foundation membership is your personal connection to the Arch, the symbol of our hometown.

We wish you happiness in the New Year, and we hope to see you soon at the Gateway Arch National Park.

Sincerely,

Eric Moraczewski
